Augmented Reality Media Development Traditional Games in Elementary School

This study aiming to develop learning media based on Augmented Reality (AR) using content from the traditional game Broken Plate, and to test its validity and practicality as a learning medium for Class V of State Elementary School 060856 Medan. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model ( Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation ). Research results show that the media developed a percentage of 96% for expert material and 94% for media experts, with the category being very feasible. A practical test involving teachers and students yields a percentage of 94%, indicating that the media is assessed as very practical. Thus, AR game media, traditional Broken Plate, is worthy of being used as an alternative innovative learning tool, while also preserving local cultural efforts. The purpose of this thesis is to develop AR game media for traditional in-basis students. The method used is R&D, specifically with the ADDIE model. Feasibility test results indicate that this AR media falls into a Very Eligible category, as evaluated by expert materials, media experts, and trials conducted among students. The response of students towards AR game media is traditionally very positive, showing improvement in motivation, learning, and understanding, as well as valuing the culture contained within the game.
